NUWR Sea Lions and NJ Hammerheads Win the 2026 USA National Titles

NUWR Sea Lions won the mixed division and NJ Hammerheads claimed the women’s title at the 2026 USA Underwater Rugby Club National Championships in Round Rock, Texas.

The 2026 USA Underwater Rugby Club National Championships were held on 15–16 May at the Round Rock ISD Aquatic Center in Round Rock, Texas. The event was hosted by the Austin Salamanders.

Five teams competed in the mixed division: Austin Salamanders, Boston Narwhals, DC Devil Rays, Inter/Hammerheads and NUWR Sea Lions. NUWR Sea Lions finished first, Boston Narwhals second and DC Devil Rays third.

The women’s division featured Colorado/SF, DC Devil Rays A, DC Devil Rays B and NJ Hammerheads. NJ Hammerheads won the title, followed by SF/Colorado in second place and DC Devil Rays A in third.

The event announcement and participating-team lists were published by USA Underwater Rugby/NAL. The final placings were verified through the official club championship records maintained by the Underwater Society of America.
