Finland Women Claim Nordic Bronze in Stockholm

Finland defeated Denmark 2–1 in the bronze-medal match of the 2026 Nordic Underwater Rugby Championship in Stockholm.

The Nordic Underwater Rugby Championship was held at the Högdalen swimming pool in Stockholm. Finland’s women drew all three group matches against Sweden, Denmark and Norway.

Finland met Denmark in the bronze-medal match after the final group standings were decided.

Thelma Björk scored both Finnish goals in a 2–1 victory that secured the bronze medal.

Finland’s men finished fourth after losing the men’s bronze-medal match 2–0 against Sweden.
