German Underwater Rugby Championship Presented as an Online Event in Berlin

Germany’s eight leading men’s teams met in Berlin for a spectator-free championship broadcast through a professional online stream.

Berlin Underwater Rugby Verein hosted the German Men’s Underwater Rugby Championship on behalf of VDST on 9–10 May 2026.

The event was held without spectators at the venue and presented through a professional livestream using underwater camera coverage and commentary.

Eight teams from Germany’s top leagues took part. VDST also reported that team and player registration was completed through a new fully digital portal.
